It was a banner series. The Jays have only a +9 run differential but have the third best record in the AL and the 7th best record overall. By comparison the Braves also have a +9 run differential and are 39-47. Safe to say the Jays have overperformed and the Braves have underperformed.
But the Jays are on the upswing because their run differential was -30 just a few weeks ago.
Definitely a much better season than I expected.
I was definitely surprised to hear they had overtaken the Yankees.

Went into the series 3 games behind and walked out with a 1 game lead in the East.
Probably the best series of baseball I have seen the Jays play since 2015/2016 when they had great teams and made it to back to back American League Championship series.
The way they play reminds me a lot of the Royals team that won the WS in 2015. Doesn't mean they will win the WS but they are a pain in the ass to pitch to. They put the ball in play, don't strike out a lot, run the bases well, and run into big home runs when they need them.
