Did you first get into it to earn sats, and then along the way forgot all about that goal and just enjoy posting/commenting?

No not really. I joined SN because I like interacting with lightning (fills me with nerdy glee) and then I liked the technical discussion aspect.

I don't know though. Its weird because even though my goal is to zap away all sats I earn, I still enjoy getting zapped. It fills me with nerdy glee too, but also I look at the sats I get zapped and go "wow people liked my post that much?"

I think zapping sats is like the only way to do "I liked this post so much I wish I could like it twice" without the single like losing its meaning.
