Becoming a treasury company was something I pitched them on before everything was a treasury company.
Nice. You were cool before everyone else was cool.
Well if you make Predyx huge don't forget your buddy grayruby. They can hire me to be the guy that tries to break all the markets.

Did you explain to her that your house will be in the US soon?
reply
That would save us a lot of money.
I do think we will get a house in the US at some point but it is a bit harder now compared to a couple years ago when we were seriously considering it. We will see what the next 12-18 months bring.

I'll sell you mine. I accept bitcoin.

Wisconsin is a bit far. I would like to be reasonable driving distance to where we live in Ontario.

You realize those states are barely better than Canada, right?
Quit being a bitch. Im in south eastern Wisconsin, so you can just shoot across Michigan (absolute shit hole of a state) and end up in Toronto.
I've been trying to buy a condo after covid. Every time I get the courage to go and explore, and after looking at the prices- I just say to my, "f@ck this shit - I'm better off renting".
I think the housing market is very inflated in US. They say "what goes up, must come down" while this adage might not be true for bitcoin but it certainly holds true for other assets.

A couple years ago we were casting a pretty wide net of states to live in but since my dad was diagnosed with Parkinsons last year our thinking shifted and I don't want to be more than 4-5 hours from home so it really limits us to some places in New York, PA or Michigan.
Because we live in a ski resort town we can easily rent our place out for the winter months. So originally we thought we would buy a place in the US and rent our place out for 3-4 months a year but shit happens and sometimes you have to change plans.
As much as I hate the politics in Canada and the fact that the vast majority of Canadians have turned into brainwashed sheeple we are pretty comfortable where we are and it is important to me to be around for my parents as they age and their health deteriorates. Part of the reasoning for the move out of the city in the first place was to spend more time with them and have the kids spend lots of time with them.
But it would be nice to have a home base in the US so I am open to the idea. I know it would mean a lot to my wife since she and the kids are dual citizens. My wife made a big sacrifice moving to Canada so I could focus on my business. At some point I would like to return the favour.

Yeah, I feel that. Main thing keeping us in California is our community, which isn't so easily replaced. Politics comes and goes in comparison.
