Lightning is the only L2
Ark and Statechains have to refer to Lightning as "glue" because they are not L2's themselves
L1 = Payments L2 = Payment Channels

Ark is bitcoin just like Lightning.. Liquid, statechains, drivechains, etc. are not bitcoin

Wrong, Ark is another scam fake L2 just like the rest... Worse given how bad their marketing is to overtly lie

Are you really familiar with the Ark design? You are not sending bitcoin elsewhere and you are always able to withdraw the funds without permission.
I'm not commenting the marketing thou.. it's a bit suspicious.

It's literally just another centrally coordinated shadow chain, "pre-confirmed transactions" and "vTXOs" are scammer nomenclature, not protocol design.
There is a unilateral exit happy path with pstx's, if you can afford it, but Ark only exist to serve poors that can't afford lightning (therefore can't afford a UTXO or the exit)
It's a trustodial system and their marketing is just the first violation of trust. Bad actors, avoid.

Valid concerns.. I will still keep an eye on it.

have you heard of Spark?

Yes, it's a statechain implementation Lightspark uses to obfuscate their custodial relationship with users allowing them to distribute SDK's to wallet devs who won't KYC users.
The one thing i'll give them is is that they openly admit its trusted in their docs.
The problem is they're lying when they market it as an L2 as if its not trustodial.
