Bitcoin’s difficulty adjustment mechanism, embedded in its code since genesis, began compensating immediately.

The difficulty does not adjust immediately. It adjusts every 2016 blocks which is roughly 2 weeks.

I'm sorry I took the time to read your link and reply, unlike anyone else did, and that I thought someone who calls themselves @BTCMiner would care that a link they shared got one of the most basic things about bitcoin mining wrong. I’ll ignore them from now on.
