I just had a crazy thought. I mean, if there is going to be alot of bankruptcies, generally, i mean when all that easy money stops. Whos going to be buying stuff from the liquidiators? Will everything just fall into bitcoiners hands when the liquidations start?
I like cold brew. It's a lot stronger than pour over. I would make it in a jar and then pour it through my regular coffee maker's filter. But sometimes it just tastes like water with coffee grounds. Not sure what I'm doing wrong there.
Right now I'm enjoying a hot cup of java, then later on the day I'm moving in back with my gf, it seems that is going to be a fun day, let's see how it goes... Hope everyone else has a good day too!!
I'm migrating from jsPDF to canvas for image processing - now I see it was a bad idea to start with, as jsPDF is slow and limited - I'll only use it to spit out the final pdf.
Stuffing myself on a late dinner last night knocked me out pretty early, as it does, so I woke up and got out of bed around 5 am. I didn't plan to be up early, but hopefully that means I'll be somewhat productive after spendin the first few hours of my day goofing around.
With Art Basel in town many NFT stuff gong on in town. A usual I'll have Bitcoin Brunch tomorrow from 10am-3pm at Naomi's Garden in Miami.
Last week, we also launched the first landing page for our upcoming February confluence of meetups called BTC Vortex.
Yesterday I had a meeting with my mom's 76 year old stock broker regarding her estate. It turns out he is an old time gold and silver bug. I was discussing one of my nephews, and he said "just tell him to stay away from crypto." I feigned ignorance, and he said, "you know, the crash." Then he said, " I almost bought it for the first time recently." I asked, "bought what?", and he said "bitcoin." He said "I have been watching it since 2016 and it's low now, but I'm waiting for it to go lower." I asked how much it was when he started looking at it, and he told me $400. I then made my amateur attempt to orange pill him, and we had a pleasant conversation, but I doubt he'll ever get off zero.
I'll keep trying. He was tempted to trade some of his gold bullion coins for bitcoin, but he couldn't pull the trigger because "the coins were so pretty."
