First things first, Major Legue Cricket is being played in the USA? Why? Do they even know anything about cricket there?
Of course they do. And as far back as ... 1844! In fact USA and Canada were part of the first cricket match involving two countries (as opposed to clubs or other domestic clashes). That match was played at the St George's Cricket Club ground in New York.
Now what you say @grayruby (and @Undisciplined)?
Just to remind you (both) this is only part 1 and I've got many such to teach how both of you (Canada and USA) tweaked multiple sports the way they should look like originals but they aren't. They may be the first copy of the original version of related sports but nothing that you can brag you invented.
Some sports need to crawl so others can walk and run.

Wait! Cricket is the 2nd most popular sport and Baseball is not even in top 5, none of your American copies are.

Cricket is wildly popular but that doesn't mean it is better or harder to play. Soccer is the most popular game and it is boring. Let's face it, people just aren't that bright. If they were they would all watch baseball.

Why are you taking that argument here? It's not meant for that. I've thought of posting this yesterday but couldn't. So, it may look like a response to your post but it isn't.
Here you just need to accept that Baseball has been copied out of Cricket.

So you are saying Baseball is like the iphone and cricket is like an old rotary phone? A better version of old technology?
reply
No, I'm saying Baseball is a cheap copy of Cricket. Cricket has been and is a gentlemen's game forever and will be. But Baseball was adopted for reasons otherwise.
