Not a bad idea since they follow the [DCO](https://developercertificate.org/) policy and genai messes with it. However, it's very verbose - I feel they could just have left it at:

> How contributors could comply with DCO terms (b) or (c) for the output of AI content generators commonly available today is unclear. The QEMU project is not willing or able to accept the legal risks of non-compliance

and add

, and thus, AI generated content is deemed intrinsically non-compliant with DCO.
```
