In 2020, I started to seriously consider attending flight school for the PPL(A) license, enough that I actually completed the required Class 2 medical and was sent some informational material, which included a quote of €13,618. I paid around €200 for the medical. It will expire this year.

Now, the latest quote I received is from January 2025, and it mentions €18,601 for the PPL(A) license, with a note that the quote might change. It also doesn’t mention anymore that I can pay in batches of €3,000. 🤔

Now the quote from 2020 looks quite cheap, haha. But the current quote is not a deal breaker.
