I think Braiins just require an email and an LNURL address

That sucks, but from where I'm sitting, it's been a while coming. When Marko started arguing against bitaxe on X and at mining conferences because of the lack of industrial scale, that felt like they were shifting more and more towards B2B, away from the free-for-all fest they were in their (humble?) beginnings. The compliance part inevitably follows a shift to B2B.
The "beneficial owner" mention underlines this strategy too: Nicehash is now targeting corporate customers. Perhaps this opens up opportunity for servicing the non-corporate part of the market? Not everything needs to be about scale.

Unpopular opinion: I think an investigation of someone getting hacked, scammed or money laundering lead to some 3 letter agency tapping Nicehash on the back and telling them to identify users now.
As a victim of a crime I understand the hate for this but what is the solution to stop crime? People say bitcoin is for enemies and that sounds good but it shouldn’t be a place where we don’t bring people to justice for violating other people’s property rights!
