He's right. Let's hope traditionally liberal (=libertarian in US terms) member states (like FI, NL) and more recent additions (IE/PT) are willing to back this. In the end, all roads lead to collaboration though, so all the scared countries (like Italy and France) can do is stifle the EU share in global success.
