I don't actually think it's rigged. You can tell from what they say on air that they're understanding of the game is pretty superficial.

It’s similar to the people who vote for all pro and vote a slot wide receiver for first team all pro tight end because he caught a lot of 7 yard passes. Meanwhile the best overall TE in the NFL is treated like mincemeat.
