Florida dominated in their last 3 wins
the turning point was game 2, Florida winning in double overtime
They fought valiantly. It's just they lacked the penetration at the crunch moments.
And seemed like they surrendered meekly after the brawl.
Their goaltending and defense let them down.
So they should know what needs to be mended and come back stronger in the next season.

Me too but I expected the Panthers to win.
No state income tax and Florida is a pretty nice place to live. I imagine many players would give up a few million for deep playoff runs and better tax policies
Probably but they have 15 FAs. Hard to imagine everyone comes back.
