This video's great and it includes interviews with Stan van Gundy and Shane Battier about how offensive and officiating changes have forced defenses to fundamentally change.
There's also some early discussion, centered on a clip of Rick Barry complaining about officiating, about how much better it would be if they would actually call travelling, carrying, and moving screens. I can't for the life of me understand why they don't call these things. The game would look so much better.

If they are going to allow all these moving screens they need to also allow defenders some leeway to fight through screens. Pacers were doing a good job of it last night but got called for fouls 3 times just trying to get through what should be an illegal screen.

I'd be fine with expanding the range of no-calls. I've also noticed several pretty good screens that got called for fouls, just because of how hard the defender got wiped out.
SGA's constant push-offs are definitely starting to annoy me, especially when the defender gets called for the foul. The broadcast was trying to explain that there's a difference between a "push-off" and a "release", which I suppose is correct, but Shai's definitely pushing.

I don't want to see more fouls. Some games already have way too many fouls so if they could just even it out a bit to allow the D to be a bit more physical and get away with a few things too and clean up the travels etc I think it would be better. These videos are great at highlighting how ridiculously good the Thunder D is.
