Just read that Canada will loan out more billions to the Ukranian cause, which got me thinking:

In the past, young men got shipped overseas to where they might bleed out on enemy soil. In present times, they bleed out, slowly, by a thousand paper cuts, as their bread and butter doesn't taste as good or get them as far as it once did.

The elite and well connected (the aristocracy of today, many are faceless, the lords, dukes and counts) drain life from the people who must work to make their living, and so they deliberate about to whom or what cause, what infrastructural project, what welfare state program the next billions are to be loaned out.

Carney and his goons plan financial warfare and put it on the taxpayers' tab. Tariffs are much the same. For what? For many the same reasons that politicians of the past willingly pulled the trigger on conscription causing young soldiers to go out and risk their lives fighting someone else's battles.

Inflate away the debt and keep a few weapons/surveillance contractors happy in the meantime. This is willing violence against one's own people.
