Now we need to define what is slop. Your post was an enjoyable read. I say it's not slop. It's a post that should get zapped.

In that sense I guess it's qualified slop, the prompt imported knowledge...
I conceived of the post after responding to this thread at 2025-06-17T14:17:35.21+00:00 #1008559

In that 36 minutes I had done a few other things, plus time to cook, I just happened to be looking into opensource hardware options last night since I've been trying to design a HSM that doesn't suck or cost a fortune

Did you manage to one shot it?
Also, I'm interested to hear about you working on an HSM.

More like a 10 shot, but those were mostly small tweak prompts like "wtf with horizontal rules" and "you forgot to fud hardware wallets and radio leaks"
It was 90% there though after the first two, first I told it to write in the style of Nietzsche to mask the slop aesthetic, I also have a default system prompt about efficiency.
It kept scrapping the whole thing on those little tweak prompts... so I also had to tell it not to do that. I could probably use that xp to make a bot with a system prompt that gets 95% there in one-shot.
Also, I'm interested to hear about you working on an HSM.
It's an effort probably not going anywhere since I'm not suited toward the business of manufacturing hardware, and that's ultimately what is needed.
Long story short, I've been aware of these issues and peeved by all the non-solutions people are selling and users are blindly swearing by... But the call to action was just a few weeks ago when a prospective client came forward needing help with a fiduciary-scale sum that couldn't possibly be left up to what's on the market. This prospective client isn't generating turnover revenue to justify exchange-like engineering and operational expenses either.
So, if anyone reading this is close to the industry of manufacturing chips and hardware, please make an open-source yubikey style device that supports Bitcoin (and Nostr) curves. ShockNet will partner in any way possible, it's a huge untapped market because all existing HWW silicon is full of shit.
In the absence of, or even with this, I think the most prudent thing similar clients can do is a multi-vendor multi-sig with geographic distribution... which has been the status quo for exchange scale firms anyway.
We can help with that and the effort here will find its way into our wip Sanctum Policy Engine that can layer in to business processes.

I guess until something is zapped it's Schrödinger's slop
