what's sad right now is how quick people are to cheer bloodshed.
what's even sadder is how few western countries' leaders are willing to stand up to condemn .... aggression.
but instead seem to be foaming at the mouth to see the latest of tits-for-tats.
whatever your politics, condemn those primordial urges to perk up at the sight of war,
do not habour hatred for fellow human beings,
and I pray, stop yourself if the thought ever stirs in you,
the world needs less of sanctimonious justifying of tribalism, warfare,
and more heteordox, lobbying for peace,
less scorching of the earth,
and more setting fire to hearts,
purification of the soul,
be it by saving in secularized money
or by tearing your eyes from screens qua ministry of truth devices,
do you part not by taking up arms,
do your part by cultivating in yourselves gardens of peace
