One of the things that I've really liked about Milei was his realism when he warned (paraphrased) that it would become worse before it would become better and that there would be a period of pain.
How bad was the pain thus far, is it fading, and how did this affect sentiment on the ground?
The pain is by now stabilized. The stinging pain happened during the first year. This year it plateaued, an indication that it will start to reverse during the next year, and things will finally start to alleviate. That direction is clearly sensed among people, specially among the youth, so the sentiment on his supporters on that matter remains high, and confidence is consistently boosted by the stern hand Milei is having on the state-mob structure, both by disarming it and punishing the culprits, and by freeing the citizens on the same move. And he keeps on accelerating, so that keep's his support high. Of course, a plateaued pain is still a pain, which really gives a lot of merit to the population that supports Milei on their stoic resistance and faith.
