Today I got to use Bitcoin lightning in person at a local steak n shake to pay for my food. It was mostly seem less, but I did have a small issue. Both my Rizful cloud node and Zeus didn't like the QR code Steak N Shake provided. Rizful told me the invoice was expired and Zeus wouldn't even register the QR as a lightning invoice. So, I had to move my sats from Rizful to my bittip telegram lightning wallet and pay to the QR code invoice from that wallet.
Nonetheless, a mostly seem less experience as when the Bitcoin was sent it was immediately registered by steak n shake within literally one second and my receipt was printed.
Pretty cool! I'm here for these first hand accounts of using bitcoin in the normie world.

Here’s some sats to replace your meal. Thanks for reporting. Your experience was exhilarating
Also, you might have a typo: seamless experience

First time hearing about rizful and bittip!

I love both. Bittip and sats.mobi are both lightning telegram wallets that you can export to Zeus or anywhere that supports LND importation. They are run off the old lightningtipbot user interface but lightningtipbot shut down a couple years ago. Nonetheless it's a great starter wallet for anyone looking to get into lightning. And the capacity is very high I've moved over 2m sats through bittip telegram wallet without issue on one transaction before.

A good account of something that will become very common

So cool! I wish there were more sites like this where we could pay with Lightning!

Strange my own embedded Zeus node can read the invoice efforlessly, as well as my LND node remotely controlled through Zeus.
Nice nice nice
