China has won the trade war. USA clings to its legacy fiat monetary hegemony upon which its continued dominance now depends. China has built physical infrastructure and manufacturing capacity to win the trade war and now China is implementing its tertiary trade payments infrastructure and protocols via Hong Kong, the CBDC Yuan, CIPS and mBridge and USA has no credible response except to threaten BRICS nations that USA will impose 100% tariffs upon any of them that abandon SWIFT and move to one of the Chinese alternatives. Iran and Russia already facilitate their trade and trade payments via China and the Saudis have signed up for BRICS and mBridge. US financial system hegemony is in decline and its decline is being managed not by the US, but China who are content with the trend being in their favour and not the US. The US is in decline and denial and it is hard to see how that trend could be reversed when most US citizens do not see let alone admit this is happening.
