First impressions make a big difference. Make sure the outside of the house looks good.
Coat of paint goes a long way.
You don’t need to stage the house but declutter, clean thoroughly (don’t forget to clean the windows inside and out) and brighten the place up with things like fresh flowers, bowl of fruit in kitchen etc.
Strong agree here. A coat of paint or even a good exterior power wash goes a long way for little money.

Yes, people totally underestimate how much natural light sells a place, smudgy windows make a place feel more run down. also swapping out old yellow bulbs for daylight LEDs makes rooms feel way bigger and cleaner for almost no effort.
