It's a bit of a shocker but Baseball Reference now has the Chicago Cubs as the most likely team to win the World Series with a 17.1 % chance. Narrowly beating out the Tigers and Mets.

The Dodgers have dropped drastically down to 5th with only a 7.2% chance. This is wildly different from Vegas oddsmakers who still have the Dodgers as a strong favourite to win the World Series.

Dodgers have been struggling with all their pitching injuries and the Cubs have been steady all season with a dynamic offense and solid pitching. I would still take the Dodgers over any other team assuming they make a couple moves at the deadline and get some guys back from injuries. I would also take the Mets over the Cubs but we will see how it all shakes out over the next four and a half months.
