That shouldn't happen. Usually the flow is quite simple.

1. Deposit onchain funds.
2. Open channel and wait for confirmation.

Now the balance should be shown as lightning and you can send on lightning.
Maybe you had some Network issue making it seem like the funds disappeared, sounds weird.

Do you see attacks against coordinators, like DDoS, hacking attempts or something else?

How stable is the robosats backend, does it need lots of attention or is it painless once set up correctly?

How many % of trades open disputes, and how many % of disputes are really due to scamming / scam attempts?

How much time do you invest to run the coordinator daily (average)?

Swapserver announce themselves every 10 minutes or when liquidity changes with a replaceable nostr event, clients query them and can select one. When doing a swap the client and server communicate over encrypted nostr events too.
