Sounds good to me. I run knots but I’m also totally open to a good third implementation.

I find myself daily thinking about how I should be using AI and whether it’s a slippery slope to losing my mental faculties. I believe if we allow it to, AI will take over those things which we should be doing for ourselves. So yeah it’ll make us dumber.

That’s a fair assessment. Yes Bitcoiners seems to be generally sceptical of catastrophic projections regarding the climate. Which I think is the right approach.

The more I look at the science of climate the more complicated it becomes and the less consensus there seems to be about a ‘climate emergency’ or a need for ‘Net Zero’ which is being pushed in the UK.

My take on most of the grand narratives of our time particularly climate related ones. 🙏

There's a lot of what look like poorly built new builds going up in my area of the UK.

Building companies have been cashing in cramming as many new houses as they can into plots.

If the market crashes in the UK I'm wondering what will happen with all the new housing stock. I suspect much of it will be worthless compared to older properties that are not on pokey little estates.

I know its early days with Chorus but I transferred 500 sats over lightning onto the app and it was converted to ecash right away so I was impressed and thought 'all good'.

Thanks for this. I've been trying various approaches too - removing apps from my devices, going on long walks, meditation etc. Well worth the effort to spend time without devices and the internet.

I'm using an app called Newpipe on CalyxOS which is totally customisable. For example it can only show videos from channels that you are subscribed to which reduces the addictive tendency to mindlessly click on other content.
