experience nostr like a 90s email client 😜
unless you compiled your open source client yourself you don't know what the "open source" client is doing with your key either. the compiled version from the app/play store can be different from the publicly released code and you would never know it.
Its not fooling Apple because it would be restricted by Apple's moderation by putting an additional burden on jb55 to moderate the default relay
#3 is possible but not in a desirable way.
The content comes from the relays, damus ships with default relays, one of them controlled by jb55, so to pass the review, damus needs to ship with jb55's relay enabled and abiding Apple's moderation policies, and other "open" relays disabled and must be manually enabled by user after accepting warnings.
I think you misunderstood what I said. People want stablecoins for the same reasons they want fiat, which makes sense, a USDC is just USD with extra steps.
They don't care if its on ethereum, tron, paypal or liquid, they just want that dollar.
no need to differentiate, stablecoins are fiat currencies. just because they use different payment rails doesn't change much.
This looks great, I think something like this can really take off when it comes with a few best practice predefined setups and instructions that handle 95% of situations.
E.g. The family setup:
X keys, give 2 to siblings, 1 to parent, 1 to C, etc...
The business setup:
X keys, key A for co-founder, B for.. C for...
The corporate setup:
etc...
SQRL is a protocol that does the whole decentralized identity thing, but almost no one uses it because most websites are centralized anyway. It looks to me like its a perfect match for nostr. It's well thought out and handles compromised identities with rekeying using a rescue code.
Seems like everyone is reinventing the wheel these days (unknowingly), but it looks to me like the solution is already there, its just needs to be made nostr friendly/compatible.

What a strange reasoning. I can tell you that yes in the 2013 bubble there were people who thought "naaaah this is not so interesting, I will buy x shitcoin instead", but in the 2017 bubble there were also people who said that, and as you surely know since it was just 1 year ago, in the 2021 bubble also.
