I watched this movie right when it was released. I really, really loved it until the third act.
I'm not gonna give spoilers here, but for me, if they stuck to only practical effects (or at least kept CGI to a few moments), it would be easily my favorite 2023 horror movie. Unfortunately, they choose to use cheesy CGI for the whole climax.
But it's still one of my top horror movies from 2023, for sure.
