How  much the state can borrow from the future?

Just wanted to share with you the strategy I'm using to trade IBIT Bitcoin options.

It is called Covered Call. Basically you buy 100 shares of IBIT (cover) and Sell a Call earning the premium.

Example:

IBIT price.- 50$
Strike price.- 65$
Expiration day.- Three weeks later.

If the option prices goes beyond 65$, you will have to sell your 100 shares at 65$ earning 5% plus the premium. If not you earn the premium, and repeat the strategy once more. 

Obviously if the price goes down during this time, the price of your call will go down so you can buy it at a cheaper price than what you sell it earning the difference.

Seems to me that Trumps's economy policy is an excellent opportunity to sell call options.

His policy will make any kind of asset cheaper, hence Bitcoin at least in the short/mid term.

A potential stragey:
Strike price.- 59
Expiration.- 04/04/25

Exactly, i firmly believe this and it looks like time is giving me the reason

Needs to be transfer of value to proof Bitcoin is money.
There are no shortcuts, making Bitcoin store of value just stacking without transferimg it it is not enough.
We need to use it as we do here in SN.

I've read many times that one of the biggest advantages of Bitcoin mining is that you can move your mining platform there where energy is wasted.

Basically what I want to say is Bitcoin should be spent where there is a Proof of Work to produce the good or deliver the service. 
 
For example a surgery, the doctor is not doing any other thing but the surgery, coding, the engineer is not doing any other thing but coding, honey, the bees spend all their time producing honey...

However a coke is just a matter of putting more capital to produce more cans, a car, same thing, a lightbulb...

Valued things increased their value when transitioning, thus the more we use Bitcoin the higher the value.

I'm considering about building a web portal where to buy and sell product and services paid with Bitcoin.

Most of plebs are reluctant to unveil their identity... and that is quite inconvenient in a project where someone has to trust the other in first place without knowing the identity.

Say if i want to buy a kilo of coffee, whether I pay first or the seller sends me the coffee first.

How can this be overcome without a centralized authority, how can I build trust here to prevent farud?

Has anyone ever used anytask.com paying with Bitcoin?

To me my main concern is the low adoption there is so far, I'm not saying number of address with more than 0,1 Bitcoin which is ok, $,5M...., I'm talking about the few places where you can use natively Bitcoin as a payment method using LightnigNetwork.
AS I see it if we do not use it we will not succeed.

Unfortunately not everyone holding Bitcoin is holding it because they understand Bitcoin.
My guess is more than half is just to make money, as a matter of profitability. Understaning this will help us to set a more realistic expectations in Bitcoin adoption.
What is your best guess?

Oldest gold coin found is Lion of Lidia, arround 650 BC in Turkey.

Arround that time and before the human being was already using gold, but basically as mean of power and wealth in different forms brecelets, rings, necklaces,... and this was certainly because gold was an appreciatted metal. And as amatter of that fact eventually it was mint in coins with value.

Never, ever has been found any grave during an archaeological excavation with gold as such, always in forms of jewels that represent power and wealth, never as reserve of value.

Beecause if was an appreciatted metal it was used in coins as a method of payment and eventually, after many years of the use of gold coins as a payment method it was used a reserve of value.

I can not see any reason to believe Bitcoin will turn into a solid reserve of value if before it doesn't proof it works as a mean of payment.

There are no shorcuts in this race!

Personaly I'm a firm believer there are no shortcuts in this race. Whether Bitcoin succeed as a mean of payment or it will never become a store of value.

Gold has succeed a a store of value because it was used as a payment method, using coins of different values, but not the other way round. 

There is no revolution without sacrifice and in this case we will have to sacrifice some sats each of us and buy goods or services in exchange of sats until it becomes a regular ocurrence the use of Bitcoin as payment method.


However this is just my very personal opinion, not necesarily to be right ;-)
