    How did you find out about SN?

I don't quite remember, it was few years ago. A friend of mines was orangepilling me and I think he showed this app.

    How difficult was it to get started? Any feedback?

          It was pretty straightforward, not too hard.

    How much experience do you have with lightning?

          I've been using it since forever.

    Have you read the FAQ already?

       I have not.

    Have you realized that you need to attach a wallet to receive sats?

       Now I know lol.

    Do you understand the difference between cowboy credits (CCs) and sats?

         I have no clue at all. I read about it, but I'm still confused.

    How was your first week on SN?
       It was great in the beginning. Coming back everything is so different and kind of expensive. 


Education

Human choice is what defines the action as good or bad. I own a business. As a business owner, I set the wages, I supply the gear, I dictate the environment conditions, I provide the benefits, and many other entrepreneurial tasks. So if the workers are mistreated by having them work in poor conditions with subpar gear, whose fault is that? The entrepreneur's, not capitalism.

Faulty Capitalism or Human Imperfection?

Is the pie fixed? Do people have to lose in order for there to be winners?

There is no fixed pie. Everyone is useful because your time is scarce.

Everyone grows the pie and everyone wins. You can only produce so much of something at any given time. People have to take breaks and go home at the end of their shift. While you're on a production hiatus, someone else can produce what you're producing, and profit. More stuff for everyone, which brings more eyes. You won't be able to satisfy everyone. Be it because of proximity, the product is sold out, or too expensive. The benefit of having more people produce the same goods, is that people get their needs met. Regardless if you produce less than the big corporation, you're filling a void that's created by the scarcity of time, while also adding value.

Fixed Pie?

If you aren’t buying things, the money you’re bringing in is going into your savings. This opens up the opportunity for you to buy the thing that allows you to earn more money and even save time by being more efficient. You go from washing your dishes by hand, to putting them in the dishwasher to dry. You own a restaurant and now your business is more efficient by saving you time. While also allowing you to earn more money by having more clean plates readily available for customers.

Capital

You are deciding on whether to buy those extra pair of shoes you don't need, and instead add that money to your savings, leaving the shoe purchase for another day. If you choose to leave the shoe for another day, you have low time preference. If you choose to buy the shoes, you have high preference. You want to buy the shoes now, instead of buying at a later time and saving your money. Not buying now and thinking about your future.

Time Preference

Capitalism is fundamentally simple. You own the means in production. The stove you bought to use in baking those pies you sell on Facebook Marketplace, you own it and dictate what to do with it. You also get 100% of the profit if any. What you decide to do with your capital---something that is made solely to produce other stuff---or profits, have nothing to do with capitalism. Capitalism allows for you to be in the position to decide what you want to do with them. I can decide to use my printer to scan old used books and archive them on my computer for public use. I can put some of the books up for sale in digital format and use the profits to buy a better printer, or upgrade the archive with better software. Whether you decide to do good or bad, is up to you. You are in complete control.
