I like this. Although Bitcoin thrives when attacked in any way; not only txn censorship. Censoring, rehypothecating, spreading mis-information, double-spending, mining empty blocks... it doesn't matter. Eventually Bitcoin gets stronger, wrecks you, and moves on.
Can anyone truly “own” land? I mean, if your government doesn’t take it from you, eventually it all returns to nature anyway.
How can you tell a bitcoiner from a wanna-be-bitcoiner? Today the wannabees are scrambling to distance themselves from the Trump shitcoin fiasco. Check their youtube & twitter feeds... all posting, "oh, but I just HAD to vote for the shitcoiner because the alternative is so much worse".
Hey douchebags, the alternative is BITCOIN.
@Scoresby this post, like your posters, fills me with joy. Thank you.
Would you mind sharing a bit about the setup you use to accept btc via https://shop.bitcoinscoresby.com? I'd like to connect my own Wordpress/WooCommerce site to SatoshiNakanodo using BTCPay Server and am in search of a good tutorial. Have you already done a write up on this?
(btw, I'm getting an Content Security Policy (CSP) warning from your site. Not sure if it's user error or some JS issue on your end.)
I will offer well-paying jobs in my Bitcoin enterprises. Those willing to work will be handsomely rewarded.

I like that, it's much more concise than how I put it.
If 10mph makes a difference whether someone lives or dies, then I don't care about getting my fat ass to Taco Bell any quicker.
I understand why Cowboy Credits had to happen, and so I like it.
🤔 On the other hand...
I understand why Cowboy Credits had to happen, and so I hate it.
I still have no idea how to use my cowboy credits so how about you just take some of my sats? ZAP! ⚡⚡⚡
I don't know anything about golf carts, however, I will fight anyone to the death regarding speed limits. 25-30 mph (40 kph) on a city street is more than adequate, especially on those where people live.
If you are hit by a car at 20 mph your odds of surviving are ~90%.
If you are hit by a car at 40 mph your odds are worse than a coin flip.
If a child is hit by a car at 40 mph, it's game over.
Ok, I think I'm seeing it. I need to go back and re-read that Money Class. You might need to make a white board video series for ritardos like me.
I'm a slow learner so please excuse me if I'm misunderstanding, but...
When BTC is the global unit of account, doesn't that mean that 21 million BTC must account for the max value of everything in the global economy?
(value of the global economy) / 21,000,000 = The price of everything
If the denominator (21M) remains constant and the numerator changes (up or down) then the BTC price of everything within the economy would simply adjust (up or down) as the total value of the economy grows or shrinks.
Do we need to bring bridges and skyscrapers and the space/time continuum into this?
What am I missing?

So you run Alby Hub on its own, without your own Bitcoin/Lightning node?
I'm just trying to understand your setup. I use Alby Hub for payments running on top of my node, but I didn't realize you could also run it as a standalone app. Interesting.

If you're reading this you probably should. You already have the skills required to do so, and in the long run, it helps you and Bitcoin.
