I have farmers accepting Bitcoin, and my childrens school does as well. That's a decent portion of my necessities. It also makes these ppl and institutions strong and durable. This work never stops.
Also, don't underestimate the value of friends if all else fails. Friends will take a fiat bullet for you - meaning they can intermediate between you and a company where they pay the fiat and you can send them Bitcoin.
This makes your friends strong and durable.
Never having to exchange back to fiat is the goal - a very difficult goal that most people need to be building 24/7/365.
If you don't have people to exchange bitcoin with, then you will default to the exchange. You must build a circular economy to have any hope of using your Bitcoin as proper money.
Appreciate the plug. Would love to attract listeners, but I'm building the show like Phish itself. I'm hopeful it will reach the band and they will consider the ideas I present. Also want them to have access to high signal should they ever take Bitcoin seriously.
Not at all - in fact the opposite. They have no immunity to testifying because they are not able to incriminate themselves when they have immunity from prosecution.
Philly is the most corrupt city in the US and they still cant find a way to shoehorn this stadium in Chinatown. Its rare when this happens, but its seems like the "right thing" won.
Thanks for the feedback. I started a podcast to discuss this that I hope reaches the band. I went to a couple of Dead shows back in 93/94 - real tail end but the Phish train was coming strong for me. I was a big fan of David Gans music for a long time but never got too much into the other Dead-related projects.
I think Phish carries the torch of adventerous music and they're the only ones who do so at close to the scale that the Dead did (they are not close to the scale of the Dead but theyre the closest)
I'd like them to see that Bitcoin might be part of their story and consider locking into our signal here. It could be the difference between them reaching even greater heights in the next 20 years or being a better version of Ratdog.
Episode 1 is posted below: Cheers!
I may have failed to get across a key point which is - as fiat continues to debase and devalue - the incentive to not get it are going to disappear and everyones price goes up as a result.
its hard to imagine in such a centralized fiat world that we live in now but these arrangements and incentives have existed for thousands of years.
they're an ally in the sense that they are incentivized to prevent a government or anyone else from damaging your property.
