all the world's wealth is nothing more than promises of payment based on a scam of money created out of thin air
anyone here is the owner of a bitcoin only goods or service company? Im interested to know how you make the accountability for your control. Is it more changelling make it using sats than fiat? considering that you have suppliers, partners, clients and employers handling fiat.
Your journey is inspiring and a reference for me on my own path, because you didn't sacrifice all of that for more fiat gains; you sacrificed it for freedom, and because freedom demands responsibility for your actions and choices, where sacrifice is part of the way and not the consequence. The path is personal and it isn't easy.
Luthen's speech is like many things I read at the beginning and now understand better, and for me, it's rewarding to see that I'm learning more, using the knowledge of veteran adventurers to step on the right stones or those that seem safer—you are one of them.
This study is one of those interesting ones that doesn't have a clear purpose or methodology; it feels more like an "interesting" BuzzFeed-style survey, I don't know. At least I couldn't find the paper, because it really doesn't have a point.
The Samourai developers didn't build a shield for the movement; they built the hammer that the state used to smash it.
They are double agents acting within what the system considers a crime; after all, they shouldn't have even pleaded guilty, as there is no victim. Either they are provocateurs unaware of the implications since they turned themselves in, or they are personas building the justifications for governments to catch the clueless, just as you put it so well.
What a time to be a newcomer getting into Bitcoin, seeing old recommendations for good companies that used to be Bitcoin-only now pushing shitcoins. I almost missed out and caught this phase.
I'm happy to come across this post now that I know so much more about this scam pulled on our parents, because I can understand it better and extract more knowledge from it to share with others.
*What do you think? Is the birth certificate a necessary tool for a modern state, or does it represent a fundamental shift in our relationship with government instead of with our community?
It is a tool created to pull us into their legal game through deception, without our consent. All the dead in this game are made alive by our consent. It works perfectly because it acts on the minds of each individual—it's incredible, and that's why it's so hard to break if you don't persist on the path to freedom.
This is another “must read” that you wrote, first I read was Magic, Spells, the State and You. The first time I read it, I had one understanding, and now that understanding of what you expressed there is even deeper.
I once watched an animation based on this presentation and now I see the source, very good. Larken has a knack for explaining the obvious, yet people's default mode is still to block out this truth with claims like those of the character in his story. This presentation is better than the animation because it goes deeper into the explanation with more examples.
Now you have the data to put together the quarterly results and, eventually, the year-to-date figures so we can have that nice-looking chart.
is just a game and 2 sides that both want to win
As Kevin Flannagan from Brehon Law said, this jurisdiction system is more like two lawyers summon spirits (corporations) to fight each other using legal terms like spells.
Grimoire is awesome and it’s my main nostr client so far. Create or search for a “spell” and a “spellbooks” is a good experience there because you discover new ways of doing a request for the server. For explorer spells there you can use the command req -k 777 and spellbook req -k 30777.
After Grimoire I saw how good is use hashtags in notes to delimit a content, this spice make your spell even more powerful.
Explore, setup, enjoy.
The main scenario
You went into a lot of detail and I appreciate you being so open, so I have a few more questions to dig deeper. Do you keep fiat for necessary operations and record them at fair value in sats in that complicated spreadsheet of yours, or do you convert all fiat into sats to avoid having to deal with that accounting and keep your flow "pure"?
Dealing with clients who I assume aren't bitcoiners makes the contract itself feel like an investment to them; it's very complicated, and I'll keep that tip in mind in case I have to deal with it.
