I don't get what they hope to accomplish.
If they have so many issues they will murder two people more planes will probably crash and there will be more investigations until Boeing goes bankrupt, which is pretty bad for America.
eh, maybe a bit too vociferous, but no, you are saying nonsense. Monero doesn't work in the way you think it does
Yes, it is a business, and with low barriers like restaurants, you will have as much luck gaining an edge as in restaurants. Some people will manage to make large "chains" by figuring out how to improve the technology of buildings itself, while most will eek out a meager living for the huge risk burden they take on a bitcoin standard. Most people will not be in the real estate business because it is inherently low ROI.
Most people will not be in most businesses that they know nothing about. The fuck do you know about real estate? Do you know the difference between a blue-phosphor-pump and a violet-phosphor-pump LED? etc.
This isn't esoteric or insightful, but like managing real estate today, fiat puts a large premium in people who manage to verbosely say rather straightforward and obvious things that scratch the surface of ideas and are <20% wrong to the choir like Lyn Alden.
I was just thinking it is funny and practical, haha, but yes, I do suppose there would be some clout for "establishing new lands" for commercial use or whatever (beyond just the research facilities)
ok, hear me out, new plan... we invade and conquer Antarctica and declare it the sovereign Bitcoin Citadelarctica
Oh no, definitely not... I imagine people would go there the same way people in mining work in the arctic, or people work out in oil-rigs. More about building server infrastructure there that is NOT IN ANY NATION STATE.
Exactly, you have the best geothermal gradient on the planet!
Idk if we need all that many people since it's mostly about maintaining the machines, but anything that is not bandwidth intensive compute could be done there, so lots of bitcoin mining and AI.
I'm saying 1 million since some space CEO said something about 1 million humans in LEO, and I think we hit 1 million Antarctic service workers first... but you need absolutely massive infra to need that many people.

Lux, I am your brother
As most certainly is is, for as means that IT IS of a particular form that is being stated
No different from if the IRS says something IS treated AS something else, the IS is implicitly there along with the AS, it cannot be separated
Not that it matters because what they say IS NONSENSE regardless
Total TOTAL LARP
These businesses are not bitcoinER businesses, just businesses that see it as a marketing angle and auto-convert to fiat, maybe 1 in 5 will not.
Cute meme, but AI/HPC does that too
It's funny how you view "the grid" as this unchanging monolith, ignoring the fact that it is downstream of fiat government and central planning 🤦♂️
Also, mining itself is nowhere close to putting... nvmd, don't have time to explain it
