lol how fucking incompetent can one be.
I expect to see more of this shit over the coming 4 years.
When Skyrim came out I was alone and had a free week. I would get up in the morning, smoke a bong and dive into exploring the world until late at night. Probably ate something in between and smoked a second bong. Truly magic gaming memories.
Pretty important. I try to eat berries every day, they are rich in antioxidant polyphenols. I also take two antioxidant supplements:
- Vitamin C (~100 mg per day)
- Melatonin (0.5 mg before sleep)
I just had to rhink of native americans sitting around a fire, discussing: "should we allow these white dudes to live on our land? What is the worst that could happen?"
I agree, thats also my main point of criticism. Nobody bothers to comment on older posts or reanimate older discussions
There is a blog post by the founder of atai Life Sciences: https://christianangermayer.substack.com/p/why-bitcoin-can-be-a-valid-part-of
It´s worth reading! He makes the point that especially for drug developing companies Bitcoin is a great tool. Development of a new drug usually takes around 10 years. During this time the company doesn´t earn anything but sits on tons of cash from investors that is being devalued by inflation. I especially like this take:
"...if there’s one constant in life, it’s that there will always be some degree of political mismanagement."
Would have been great to have a few more years to get the supply decentralized into more hands before governments get involved though
I think conspiracy theories are mostly retarded and a distraction. Most of them are absurdly far fetched and people spend hours "researching" them instead of doing something useful. In the end, this is wasted time because it´s impossible to prove or disprove most of it. On top of it, it´s probably unhealthy because while doing their "research" people get all riled up and stressed. And for what?
There was an interesting post in the science territory on association between poor sleep quality and conspiratorial beliefs: 919840
The physicist Robert Grimes developed a model to calculate the probablity of a given conspiracy theory to be true. The model is based on historical examples of exposed conspiracies. It probably has its limitrations, but might be fun to run the numbers on your favorite theory:
Even if that turns out to be true it has to weihed against the increased cancer risk. Here some recent thoughts on theat topic: https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-025-00729-5
Tradeoffs all the way ...
This example also shows that its not on single factor, but a combination:
Genetics, the microbiome, good food (mediterranean diet) and
“order, tranquility, good connection with family and friends, contact with nature, emotional stability, no worries, no regrets, lots of positivity and staying away from toxic people”, as she is cited.
Also having a yoghurt now, will add some blue berries and flax seeds. Cheers
