Absolutely. Imagine something like this as a basic option for taking generic payments…

Hey, while we don't have the ability to integrate Zaprite as a Checkout into directly manager.io, there are some options:
- Create a "Customer chooses what to pay" Payment Link which can be used as a generic "Make a payment" Checkout for your clients. You could simply add this URL to yoru Invoice footer and request people pay you there. Obviously this is not perfect as it's not synced up to your Invoices, and you would have to manually mark them as 'Paid' after receiving a payment. But it does give you the option to accept bitcoin payments.
- Our API could allow you to build out a custom Checkout flow that would sync everything up. This would depend on manager.io and what API, if any, they had available.
But your use case is very interesting, and we'll think about ways to solve that more seamlessly.

Hey, we totally understand,. We needed to introduce billing and a flat-rate subscription was the easiest first step for us, being non-custodial. It actually works out to be very beneficial for most of our users doing large volume.
But we know we need to expand subscription options, and we're working on that!
Would love to know what you found clunky so we can improve?
And if you have any suggestions on payment options please let us know. I would disagree it's "extremely limited", and we're adding integrations every month so would be happy to look at anything you suggest.
Thanks for the feedback and support!
The ability to receive fiat side-by-side with bitcoin is a key feature, not a bug. There are very few bitcoin-only businesses, especially in this early stage. So offering the flexibility to accept your accounting currency, and BTC, is what users love about Zaprite.
Besides, you can always just use it bitcoin-only. Adding fiat payments is just another module you can choose to enable or not. That's the beauty of Zaprite—it is completely customizable to your individual needs and choices.
Great article. Is there any chance this will be available in international iOS app stores, for example Canada? Or does the buy/sell feature complicate that?
Thanks! It was imperative for us that we did not ever break the standard gap limit for that very reason. Not seeing balances in wallets is scary—we definitely don't want to contribute to that!

We got something we think you'll like coming VERY soon!
Yes, splitting on-chain payments in a single QR is not possible. Besides, we think the SaaS model is a more value-for-value approach.
Bitcoin has made things better and cheaper. We're not charging $25 p/month just to accept bitcoin payments. You can do that for 'free' with BTCPayServer or a host of other tools. We're charging for access to our platform, and the suite of tools we've built to make accepting bitcoin payments easier as a business owner.
It's hard to get pricing that works for everyone, but we have to start somewhere. And we will take onboard feedback like yours and adapt and add more tiers as we grow.
While the idea + domain is 2017, the project didn't start until 2020, and the current US corp is 2021.
Our domain was registered in 2017, and from memory 'Zap' wallet was only launched in 2018.
The name 'Zaprite' comes from to 'zap' (pay), 'right' (correctly). Zaprite's name means to 'pay correctly', or, 'pay optimally'. As in, use bitcoin/lightning instead of fiat.
We always considered BTC/LN payments as zaps, but just never tried to make it a thing.
We see it as very fortunate that 'zap' was actually picked up by the industry.
Yep, all valid points. We would certainly consider upping any amount if the bug was critical enough. But we have to start somewhere, and we will of course increase it over time as out app, and budget, grows.
