Position Summary

You will help lead our team in developing core product features and services with a focus on scalability, quality, and security for our Taproot Assets wallet, eCommerce services, and rewards integrations with 3rd party apps and services.

Essential Skills 

- Backend: Go, LND experience, Web Assembly (a plus), browser experience.

- Experience with Bitcoin, Lightning, LND, Neutrino, btcd

- Experience with GraphQL, React, Hasura

- Experience with consumer-facing 3rd party apps/services is a plus 

 

Desired Skills 

- 3+ years of Golang experience 

- Experience with Bitcoin, Lightning, LND, Neutrino, btcd, browser, and Web Assembly 

- Go, Postgres, Hasura, GraphQL, JavaScript, React 

- Docker or Kubernetes 

 

Responsibilities 

- Design and implement high-quality code for our taproot asset wallet, marketplace, API, services, billing, user-facing applications 

- Unit testing and code reviews/audits 

- Internal documentation and processes 

 

Qualifications 

- Preferably Eastern Standard Time Zone; PST is okay  

- Ability to work 20 hours a week with some flexibility to adjust hours up or down as needed 

- At least 5 years previous experience in similar role 

- Ability to simplify and build simple solutions 

- Excellent communication skills 

- Strong desire to write maintainable code 

- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; even assist in leading the team’s product vision and efforts
