If only there were better places that didn't incentivize echo chambers and extreme positions.
Wikipedia makes it sound like it's just edgy rage bait:
"Little Girls" was written by Danny Elfman after reading an article in a newspaper.[2] The song was written as a satire and has a strong punk rock influence, as well as a horn arrangement. When asked about the song's darkly humorous lyrics in 2010, Elfman replied:
'''What made me write it? At that point I was just grabbing onto things that popped up in my head and taking characters and singing from their point of view. ... So it didn't necessarily reflect me...but it was just fun and I knew it was irreverent. I was out to offend everybody.[3]'''
Elfman would reiterate this view in 2014, claiming that the song was an "in-your-face facetious jab."[2][3] Elfman has occasionally offered other explanations; in a 1985 concert he jokingly suggested that the song was about how his girlfriend was so "very, very little" that "she fits in the palm of [his] hand."[4][better source needed]
"Little Girls" was described by Creative Loafing Tampa as one of the standout tracks of Only a Lad.[5]
That doesn't really excuse it. I also remember songs sexualizing younger women. At the end of the day, our sexuality is imprinted on us by the culture around us, and that's what was being imprinted on the people who were alive at this time.
At the end of the day, what matters to humanity is humans. AI is only good to the degree that it makes life for humans better. If AI is hurting people, that's up to the people using the AI. And guess what's happening.

Doubly so. I was just playing Sandstorm yesterday
I really like the idea of getting models to dial down on requests with the Socratic method. Did you publish your experiment anywhere?
This is open source. These arguments always happen with every project, but when you choose to work in the open and not hidden away in dens, you have to accept the good with the bad. I'd still rather have this than ivory castle gods lording over us all without any peek behind the curtain.
V4V is working in a lot of places. Stacker news isn't the only place on the internet that we can use Bitcoin. Look at the whole V4V music and podcasting space.
Yes, there are failures, but there are failures with everything.
It will never not amaze me that people forget that societies cycle over the decades. There are literal analogs to this very screed written by the ancient Greeks, back when the tablets the old people complained about were literal tablets.
Every generation has its struggles and strengths. Zoomers are no different.
I almost never watch videos, even when I'm watching them through YouTube. I normally just listen to the audio as a podcast through PinchFlat, so it was an anomaly that I was even on the site.
So, no. To answer your question, I didn't notice.
Yeah. You'd have to be okay with the fact that you're going to beat the shit out of it, but if you wanted to and had the funds, nobody would stop you.
