Core devs don’t think there’s a fix. That’s why I asked you for yours. Maybe we just need to show them The Fix and they’ll see their mistake.
Indeed, there is no fix, when core devs fuck up at the consensus level, there are only consensus level fixes, which they refuse to touch. If they refuse to take responsibility for their errors, they should never touch the consensus layer again. Like I said in my first comment.

I'm not asking for a consensus level fix. One of the problems is core devs said they will never fix any consensus level bugs they introduce. See also https://github.com/bitcoin-core/bitcoincore.org/pull/1139

I read all that, but I didn't see anyone swear to never fix consensus-level bugs.
