It was quite a dramatic finish in the end as Piastri let his teammate win the race. Piastri was leading till the last lap but he slowed down to give way to Norris and Lecrec of team Ferari also managed to sneak past him to finish at 2nd.

I guess Piastri has decided to slow down to get more points for team McLaren.
Still 16 more races to come for 2025 and both Norris and Piastri are top contenders. It will be interesting to see if team Red bull can show some rejuvenated team effort in Spanish GP on June 1.

I apologise. It was Verstappen not Piastri who was leading the race till the last lap.

Verstappen was leading the race until the last lap. He had to make a stop before the race finished. I think he was waiting for a safety car, in case of an accident, so that he could stay first. Norris was second most of the time, with Leclerc following him close. Piastri was fourth until Verstappen went to the pit lane, finishing third.

Oh my bad! It was Verstappen in fact. However it didn't look like an accident, I'm not sure though.
Had Verstappen won, things would have been much more interesting.

There wasn't an accident. During this race, all drivers had to stop twice and Verstappen was only delaying the second one in case he could benefit from an accident of another driver.
As the race was getting to the end and he had to stop, that was the reason he left the first position. Norris had stopped twice earlier so he did not need to stop and won the race.

Thanks. I don't understand the rules, don't fully recognise players for F1 or Motosports. It's kinda newfound love for me. Just watched it in and out between Cricke where Hyderabad made a mockery of KKR bowling scoring 278 runs in 20 overs.

I was watching. It was all too dramatic. I don't know why he did so except good will for his teammate.
