Do you expect more sats to come from the in-person audience or the remote audience?
reply
That's a great question. My guess would be from the remote audience as they will be supporting us from all over the planet. But it could be close, as if we have 100 people turn up with the 6k sats burning a hole in there pocket (from fountain & azteco) then who knows? All i do know is that its important from two perspectives that we raise a few hundred thousand sats. It will signal not only to the artists but also to the venue that "There may be something to this bitcoin malarkey!"

When do you expect V4V to replace traditional means of income for artists?
reply
Well in terms of the 4 bands i've introduced so far (Longy, Nathan Abbott, Fable & The Fifty Four plates) This has already overtaken the earnings that they get annually from their distribution. I believe that more and more people are publishing their work independently. this is the logical next step. Let's hope by 2027 this is the mainstream way for artists to publish. What with Spotify's royalties declining by over 20% per year. That way will simply be pointless by 2027.

What are your favorite resources to share with artists (who have no idea what V4V is) to get them up to speed on why they should join the valueverse?
reply
It really depends where they are in the rabbithole - If they are a complete noob and know zero then i'll simply point them to my website https://bitcoinessex.co.uk On there i have a whole account of how I onboarded him to the valueverse plus the follow blog charting the results as after a month he was one of the best supported artists out there! and this success continues - according to fountain he was in the TOP 5 on the globe. Otherwise, i would get them to have a look at wavlake / fountain. But generally they ask for my help and i get them onboarded as sovereign as they can be. But i must shout out Steven Bell and Adam Curry as between them they are really pro active at pushing the RSS protocol forwards. Steven B is so prolific, he has created a whole heap of tools such as the split kit, curiocaster, lnbeats, sovereign feeds and music side project. and many more!

What types of tools/apps/nostr clients do you think would bring the V4V world to the next level?
reply
I'll tell you after the 23rd haha - At the end of the day for adoption things have to be simple right? so I have put together a crack team of not only musicians but sound engineers and photographers that will be able to capture what we are doing in global technicolor!!!

What are some dream artists you'd love to see join the V4V ecosystem?
reply
I think as grandfathers of the V4V system it has to be Radiohead! I think it was in 2007 they released "in rainbows" via their website for the whole world as a free download and asked people to give whatever they believed it was worth. They ended up with around £10 million!!!! And it wasn't like in rainbows was a throwaway album. It was one of their best albums IMHO!
I'd like to onboard all of my favourite bands from the 90's like Gomez, Babybird, Ocean Colour Scene and The Beta Band. I have been trying to engage with them via twitter and so far Right Said Fred have actually engaged with me and said they would "look into WAVLAKE" which in my book is a win. Can you imagine how many sats "i'm too sexy!" would get?

Correct, Fountain & Azteco are helping us out by donating voucher cards that mean everyone that comes to the show has to download the fountain app to get their lightning wallet and then they can add £5 worth of bitcoin (about 6000 sats) to boost the artists. We will see how it works as I'm expecting the majority of the room to be music fans and not necessarily bitcoiners. Luckily, I run the Bitcoin Essex meetup and we have organised a meet up on the same night. I have plenty of our troops in the field to help normies with the process.
