This project was so satisfying. Thanks to @BTCsessions on Youtube and CryptoCloaks.com (for the Triton shell). My new Bitcoin node is up and running on Umbrel ...with the help of LEGO® “Clockwork” Robot minifigs ;-)
For anyone interested in how I built my node, see below. It was not difficult at all. If you can use Stacker.News then you have the skills required for this project. Took me less than an hour to set up and gave me a great feeling when it was all done and working. Highly recommend everyone try it...

Hello inspiration. I was considering using this old gaming desktop I have for my node. It has a windowed panel too.
Hmmmmm..... Might have to get fancy now. lol
Cheers!

Are you planning on using it for a wallet backend?
reply
Yes! I connect to it via Electrum and BlueWallet. I’ve gone 100% trustless.

We should have some homelab/battlestation style threads for nodes from time to time.

а есть готовые узлы? может создать? что б только подключить?

I don’t sell these, if that’s what you’re asking. There are websites that sell nodes pre-assembled (see below), but I wanted to learn how to build my own. That way I don’t need to rely on anyone if something goes wrong.
