Lots on stacker news, Reddit, from friends and family, Twitter, Kagi searches, and just out in the world.
For example, I learned that the pope died because I was driving past a Catholic Church the other day and the sign out front said “Rest In Peace Pope Francis” so I did some searches.

I go to an Aussie gov funded website (usually skim), here on SN and nostr. I feel like it gives me a few different angles on what's happening in the world.

I get most of it from nostr. Flash is probably my favorite news source on their, at the moment.
I haven't been very interested in following the news sources I used to frequent: Kim Iversen, Tim Pool, etc.
