I keep hearing the term "paper bitcoin" but what does it mean?
Bitcoiners seem to talk about it negatively but I thought bitcoin is supposed to be good so what is paper bitcoin and why is it considered bad?

It has crossed my mind, but it is like saying that gold is physical bitcoin. In my opinion, ETFs and Strategy shares are already paper bitcoin and they are not good.

Paper bitcoin is the notion of ownership of bitcoin without exclusive and complete ownership of the keys. An example is when an app like gemini shows me I have x number of sats in my account.
