I have a few scenes that spring to mind, but I think one of my favourite pieces of dialogue was the 'lemon scene' from the fall of the House of Usher, season 1, episode 3
The whole show is excellent, but this one piece of dialogue was particularly great as a commentary on the lengths to which people and corporations will go to manufacture desire, manipulate markets, and commodify every aspect of human life, including emotions and relationships, in the pursuit of wealth and power.
what are some of your favourites?

This is what we truly want: to reject the grind, to own our time, and to live on our terms. It's not about wealth: it's about reclaiming agency in a system that is rigged against individual freedom.
