Today I had a photoshoot with a fellow bitcoiner. Did some portrait stuff for him, and he paid me in bitcoin. Feels good to be paid directly. Hoping to find more of that.
Here's the last shot I made before getting in my car. Actually, this was from my car. Looked over and thought it was quite funny.

Nothing can be better ... than to work on what you are passionate about and pay you with the best money in the world. πŸ‘πŸ€  Congratulations

I love getting paid in bitcoin, but wait, is that a military truck?

Nah looks like some supped up Toyota tacoma or something

It’s really great to get paid in Bitcoin for a service β€” even better if you can do it more often. Do you already promote your work offering to accept Bitcoin at a friendly price?
From the photo, the lighting looked really good, and the car seems like an awesome set piece. I imagine the shots turned out great.

For sure, I would like to do it more. I should promote my work more, but Im unsure on the approach. And a "friendly" price - what is that?
The shoot was a portrait series. This truck was something i found when I was walking back to my car, so this wasn't my subject that I was getting paid to photograph. Just a street find.

I like the idea. I stopped taking professional photos a few years ago. I'll have to relearn the editing tools again, but it's always very rewarding for me.
You mentioned Lightroom as an application. I used it a lot when I worked in the Windows environment, but what would be the alternative in Linux?
reply
Gimp is the most popular image editor for Linux. It's free, open source and multi platform.

The simpler the tools, the better. Comes down to understanding color really.
Lightroom and Dehancer are two programs that I use for post work. I'm not familiar with Linux. Perhaps someone could chime in here.
