Damn, I think it must be at least 6 times a day for me. Maybe closer to 8-10... I can't keep count.

I mean, I appreciate the extra security but damned if it isn't annoying to do this. Almost makes me want to go with biometrics... almost

Maybe someone will come up with a product which consolidates all 2FA into just one per day.

i would say roughly .2 times a day

I get you. You can get a YubiKey, but get two because you never know if the first one gets lost or damaged. I've read it makes your life super easy!

Just use a password manager for things that are non-critical and a security key for critical systems and you’ll be fine

There are some sites that are not critical at all and yet they require 2FA.

Thats why I am checking out on Passkeys and youbikey. But I still thinking OTP is better.

If I count the number of times I have to thumb id after logging in it's 40-50. Traditional 2fa is more like 1ce a day at most.
