All the trailers for this show made me think it was going to be another typical hospital show (ER/Chicago Hope/Chicago Med, etc). Nothing wrong with that, just been there, done that.
It's not. The trailers don't mention that this is a show done in real time, like 24. Each episode is an hour in a 15-hour day at an ER. It's intense, it's often gory (like horror movie level at times), and has absolutely fantastic acting from Noah Wylie (definitely not playing the same role as on ER). We binged the entire season to date over the last two days. Probably the most I've been interested in a medical drama since House.
