pull down to refresh

I've noticed a lot of times how information (FAQ type, like how to get your attached wallets set up, say in CoinOS) goes out of date VERY quickly. Then it's really tough to find the right info. You have to dig through an old post, and then look through all the comments, or the links to other posts.
Would this be a better strategy?
  • have a good post title
  • no content in the post BUT...
  • have a comment for the post, PINNED so it's always at the top
  • as information goes out of date, create a new comment with better info
  • then set the NEW comment to be the pinned one.
Thoughts?
IMO, there should be a type of post which is perpetually editable, a type of evergreen content, which many stackers have requested. For transparency and backward compatibility, maybe a history of the items can also be kept.
There's a discussion of it on github: https://github.com/stackernews/stacker.news/issues/1049
