This is cool and I bet it's useful for open source devs as negative feedback tends to outnumber positive feedback (which is mostly a one-to-many information broadcast thing rather than a FOSS thing imo). On the other hand, this does feel vaguely reminiscent of everyone-gets-a-trophy.
