Cowboys All-Pro pass rusher Micah Parsons is seeking a $200 million contract extension, The Dallas Morning News reported.
That total would serve as the largest deal ever for a non-quarterback in NFL history.
Does he really deserve it?

No. He sucks against the run. 49ers run straight at him every time they play the Cowboys. He is an elite pass rusher though.

In my nascent cognizance about Football, I've only believed that QBs are paid much higher than others and get more fame than the rest. It's really surprised me.

Yes, Quarterbacks are the most important players on any team. Defensive End is probably the second most important. They rush the Quarterback and contain the outside run game. Parsons is a defensive end. Well he is actually a hybrid, what they call an outside linebacker.

Yeah except he is a not good at stopping the run which is why I don't have him amongst the top 5 of Defensive ends.
