Just a follow-up, the ending was insanely good due to how gut-wrenching it made me feel. People who have seen the movie will know what I'm talking about. If a movie can make feel that way, then it's pretty good in my opinion.
Trainspotting. Mark Renton gets up early in the morning, hung over. Drinks a glass of water. Then, grabs the bag of cash from his sleeping friends arms and heads out, possibly to start a new life without drugs & crime. Trainspotting also has the best soundtrack!
Couple indies that haven’t been mentioned but insanely great endings are “Biutiful” and “Good Time”
Probably Se7en, although Fight Club is a personal fave.
Ya it’s hard to beat the ending of Se7en. That one just hurts cause you wish it went another way.
Don't know about best, but will nominate Interstellar for worst ending. After such a good movie, they really fucked that one up.
